Help finding utilities

I am looking for the hpda clear utility and the jetset utility. Can anyone help me? Need these to clear and setup a storage array. Thanks

Re: Help finding utilities

Thanks for the links. They both worked. Do I also need the ECU?. I cleared the config, but when I run jetset, there are no drives displayed for either channel of the controller.

Re: Help finding utilities

Hi,

I found some evidence, that what you suspect might be the case. Read this:
http://www3.jpn.hp.com/CPO_TC/server/doc/volume1.pdf
Search for "eisa".

Please state your model. Is this storage array/controller new to this server?

Michael

points are gratefully accepted. ;-)

Well the storge array is an old SS6. I am using a mylex dac960PL. The machine is a DEll Poweredge 2300.

Re: Help finding utilities

Hi,

I am almost sure, you need the ecu for the dac960pl. I have seen somehwere here a thread also refering to this controller, however they had problems with updating to firmware 2.7.3 for linux. But anyway, she used this ecu programme. So I would give it a try.

thanks for the points, call again. ;-)

Do you have the link for the ecu. Every link I have tried had been bad.
