HP DL380 (64BIT - WINDOWS 2003 Standard Edition)

We are using DL380 as DCs two host child domains. When implement other DCs and to save on WAN bandwdth a system state backup (NTBACKUP) is used but it does not complete. Reference was made to Microsoft KB 913642. Even after installing SP2 and a hotfix no success could be achieved, not even trying to backup dummy data to local disk. Try combinations in ref doc. It is working on DL580? Please assist urgently
