HP LT6000r problem
While on idle my second CPU shows 30% utilization by kernel.
Config: Dual 700/2 CPUs, 8GB RAM, Win2K

Hi,
If you are getting reports of high CPU utilization when at idle and you can see no process responsible for it, I would suspect driver or hardware problesm. Take a look in your system event logs to see if you can narrow it down.
You could also try flashing to the latest system BIOS, if you are unable to narrow it down further.
