HPE Microserver Gen 10 compatibility with Windows server 2019 Essentials

Hi, I recently purchased a Proliant Microserver Gen 10 with 2 drives of 1To.

I've not seen that it was compatible with Windows Server 2019 Essentials. 

I'd like to install Hyper-V on the server and Win Server 2019 Essentilas on it. Is it a good choice?

When an OS server is installed on Hyper-V, is ClearOS still available or is it overwritten?

Thank you for your answer. I'd seen the matrix. However I was wondering if the Microserver was not in the the list (Win server 2019) because the test is not done yet or beacause it's incompatible.

 Windows server 2019 Essentials is not supported by Microserver Gen 10 .Please let me know if you have any query.

However, I’m a bit surprised that the last generation of HPE Microserver cannot support the last generation of windows server. So my question is: Windows Sever 2019 is definitely not supported on Microserver Gen 10 (should be a shame !) or the test is not done or the drivers are not ready or HPE does not guarantee the support?

In other words, what is the reason why?

Microserver Gen 10 released before released of Windows server 2019 Essentials so that drivers are not ready .

Did you actually get a chance to install and try? As I plan to do one tomorrow (Monday) interesting to cancel the order now or go ahead, providing you had joy. A bit disappointing if the server doesnt operate correctly on new HP hardware.

I didn't try to install 2019 as HPE gave me the answer that Win server 2019 was not compatible with the Microserver Gen 10 and that they did not intend to make it compatible.
Then I installed Win server 2016 Essentials

I have successfully gotten Server 2019 standard running on this unit. I am running a single SSD drive on it. This is for home so I didnt want to spend for a 2nd 2TB drive right now.

I think 2019 Standard is OK but not 2019 Essentials

The Microserver is still not listed in the OS compatability matrix.  Is Windows Server 2019 Essentials still not supported?

Im attempting to get it working with 2019 standard, hover I cannot locate the driver(s) required during the install. I have downloaded and unziped every driver in the support section for the Microserver 10 plus. What driver did you use?
