Installing NT4

Hi

I have a problem, I created a partion on a Raid1 HD using a WIn98 boot disk. I formatted using the format prog for Win98 but when I try to install NT4 it says that it needs a DOS drive that it can control full time (words to that effect). I tried 3 times to install.

Please help. I do not have the install manual so a link to be able to download one would also be great.
