LC2000 and IDE disk

Someone try to install an IDE disk without boot problem in a LC2000 U3 ? ( I know that the IDE disk is not "supported" by LC2000........but....)
I try whit a Maxtor 20Gb, and if I disable it from BIOS it's ok, and the server boot normaly. In W2K server, i can see the new disk drive, but it's very slowly...
The first time I tryed, the BIOS recognized automaticaly the disk and the boot was normaly. I saw the disk, formated and tested it. After, when I reboot, the server try to boot from IDE disk........
I try to set the Boot disk priority to the Raid card, but automaticaly to the next boot the server change to ide disk the priority disk boot...
