LC2000r CD issues

Hello, I own a HP LC2000r and I am trying to install on OS on the drives (Slackware Linux 10.1 to be exact). The CD drive was working perfectly fine until the install completely halted while installing packages. The server will no longer boot from any bootable CD (I have tried three different ones with no luck). Does anyone know what caused this or if there is an easy fix/workaround? Thank you for the help.

Re: LC2000r CD issues

My first thought when you can not boot from ANY CD is that the CD drive is not working. It might have broken at a random time, and that time was when you were using it to install a new OS.

Look in the BIOS to see what devices are listed as bootable, and check that CD drive is at (or near) the top of the list.
