Installed a second processor in the server with voltage regulator. Although I have reflashed the bios, and cleared CMOS I am still getting a post error of:
"missing bios update for data block cpu's"
Also an error code after post of 0B0F. Haven't been able to find error or code on this site so I was hoping someone could help. Thanks

Solution
Are you certain you upgraded with a supported CPU?
These errors indicate that the CPU isn't supported by the server.
See the document on HP's Knowledge base:

What kind of CPU did you use for the upgrade?

Re: LH II second cpu upgrade - error message
Another thing to try is putting the new processor in the first slot, and putting the old processor in the second slot. If the processors are the same (speed, cache, voltage, fsb....etc) there may be new code within the new processor which would require it be in the first slot. Also, make sure you are using the latest BIOS from the web.

And do a save anbd exit from the ECU located on that page as well, after you have added the second processor.

Re: LH II second cpu upgrade - error message
Thanks for the help. As it turns out the Step Codes were not compatible on the processors even though it was the same cpu (per se )
