LH Pro 1E1E error?
I am new to scsi and servers so please bear with me! I just bought an LHPro 6/200 with 2 ppro 200 proc, 392mg's ram, 3 HP 4.3gig hdd's and a netraid adapter. I keep getting an error code of 1E1E press f1 to boot to utility partition, which it doesn't find. I ran the hp express utilitys and everything tested ok, including the scsi drives and bus. The 3 drives are on the a bus, the cdrom is on the b bus and the netraid is pulled out. It gives me this error even if I remove all three drives or any combo. I updated the bios, and I have tried the newest ecu but it doesn't look like anu bios utility I have seen. I was able to boot to win2000 cd and install, but upon reboot no operating sys found. Any ideas?

Re: LH Pro 1E1E error?
Hi
the error 1E1E means:
1e1e Failure while attempting to read a sector on a hard disk drive.
A) Check the configuration information to verify that the correct drive type is listed and the correct values are given for cylinders, heads, precompensation, landing zone, and sectors. If the hard disk drive is a non-HP drive, these values may be listed on the drive or in the documentation that came with the drive.

run ECU and go to view edit detail,
set the boot configuration an scsi controller setting according to your config and hdd.
you can also use the netraid to manage the hdd, in this case you need to inizialize the raid before to use it and to change the configuration in ECU according to your bootable card.
bye

Re: LH Pro 1E1E error?
Thanks for the quick response! OK, I was able to clear the 1E1E error by clearing the cmos. But about that ECU thing, All I am able to find is reconfigure cards, add-remove and save & exit , where do I get into the bios or which devices boot? Also, I put the netraid adapter back in and it takes FOREVER to scan the busses, and then it comes up with an error of no adaptor at e10h, no netraid adaptor installed! and the last thing, how can I get into the menues to configure the adaptec's and the netraid? pressing control-m does nothing!
