Hi, I'm about to add a 2nd set of dual PP200s. Can anyone tell me if the steps # range for adding these new cpu's will effect their installation? I haven't received the board yet.

In general, I would suggest you match the steppings, as some OS's will get upset with you if they don't match, and on some CPUS (P-II I found this), one combination of steppings would actually cause the prcessor to lock.

Intel's website should still have the CPU specs which will list the changes with each stepping, and any compatibility issue.

there is one rule for Netservers: The stepping between processors on a processor-bus can differ one step AND the cache size has to be the same.
In this case you should be aware of not mixing pentium pros with 512kB and 1024kB cache.
