ML150 and quantum DLT-V4
I am having problems getting a Quantum DLT-V4 SATA tape drive to work correctly. Sata ports are congigured- 0 primary and secondary as raid 1, 1 primary empty 1 secondary tape drive, 2 primary empty 2 secondary DVD. The tape is detected Ok and is seen in the device manager but gives errors when running backups and crashes with blue screen on occassions. I have run the quantum tape diagnostics and it give an HBA error. My questions is has anyonme been able to use this tape in the Ml150 G5 and also what DMA settings should be used in the BIOS on the tape sata port. I have tried using the windows server 2003 drivers and the quantum drivers and the synantec backup exec drivers with the same results.
