ML330 G3 want to add PCI ( Matrox P650 ) Video Card

Has anyone experience with adding another Video Card to an ML330 G3.
I have tried to install the graphics card, both the monitor stays black, there are no graphics, is it possible to disable the onboard video?

If you add a new video card, it will automatically disable primary video. In case of disaster recovery, you have to remove PCI card otherwise you wouldn't be able to reinstall OS.
