ML350 g3 mirroring question
Hi,
I bought a ML350 g3 and it came wiht the standard Ultra3 adaptors. I also have 2 73gb drives, is it possible to mirror them? If so,
how.
Thanks in advance.

Re: ML350 g3 mirroring question
Hi Sudip ,
If You have an ML350 G3 Array model , this includes the Smart Array 641 RAID controller
so You can mirror the disks by the means of this controller ( hardware mirror ) and ACU.
But if your server is not an Array model , than it comes - as standard - without RAID
controller and only with a SCSI controller, so You can only mirror the disks with the OS ( software mirror ) unless
You buy an optional RAID controller card .
Best regards
