ml350
I am installing a Smart 2ls controller on an older ml350 with 2 x 36g drives using smartstart ver 5.3
The acu runs and configures the drives , on bootup it sees 1 logical drive , but when i run either the assissted /manual install the drives are being reported as not connected - i have disabled the on-baord scsi card and ensured the boot order set correctly
When I run the installation I am getting an error stating critical problem with drives -erase drive config with ACU and cycle power ...
I tried smart start 6.1 and ran diags - the drives are present and the diagnostics report correct raid config , but in the home page it reports
boot controller disk size 0 Mb
I haveupgraded fware to d04/f04
anyone ever seen this ? -is it possible the backplane board may not be fully compatible with the smart 2ls ?
