NetRaid D4943 Win2K Driver

Looking for driver that will work with Win2k. Rebuilt server with 2000 server and unable to find a valid driver.

you must have minimum NetRaid 1SI Controller supported W2K.

Re: NetRaid D4943 Win2K Driver

One thing that I did, which works really good is that I took two of my NetRaid 4943 controllers (3-channel) and flashed them with the AMI MegaRAID 428 firmware - UF82-166. All three channels work, plus you gain LVD support in the firmware. Also, AMI has w2k drivers for this card. They work great.

(The D4943 is an AMI 428 based board).

George

PS. Personally, this was my choice because I was more comfortable running something that was supported by a matching w2k driver set.

Re: NetRaid D4943 Win2K Driver

Hi
I have an LH II with a Netraid (D4943A) card in it running Win2K server no problems, updated the firmware as per George peters advice. All works fine, but a question for George how do I select LVD as my drives are Seagate Cheetah LVD's but I've had to run them as SE drives

Many Thanks
