Re: NetServer 5/166 LC (Plus?)
make the new floppies and run them on the lc 5/166, do the bios and save/exit then the ecu.. i thought it walked you through which operating system you wanted to load and save/exit.
is your screen alot newer then the vintage 1995 lc 5/166? then the very base drivers may not work?? untill you can load the drivers from ecu... would an older screen be needed? I'm not that smart with video output..

Re: NetServer 5/166 LC (Plus?)
The site you posted is for LC servers, and this is correct for someone that does not have navigator CD (me included) but my server is a LC plus (HP does not document this very well not your fault)it uses diffent SYS BIOS 4.04.32PD and ECU.... to make a long story short... tore down server hardware including battery and all drives inspected everything put back together powered up and set BIOS & ECU got NT 4 to load but made a mistake formating SCSI hard drive to FAT instead of NTFS... go figure... it works... not the way I want... also the I have two SCSI disks 2GB (FAT) and 4.26GB on PCI SCSI controller... The NT 4 is not seeing the 4.26GB disk... well back the the drawing board..;)
