Proliant 3000 Smartstart Linux issue
I am using smartstart 5.50 to configure a 3000 server and it gives me two OS install choices neither of which is LINUX. I am kinda stumped, do I select Novell or Windows at this point or what?
I searched the knowledge base and got over 200 irrelevant items. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Proliant 3000 Smartstart Linux issue
OK so I selected Windows 200 Advanced Server as the os and smartstart ran the configure hardware utility and now I am at the "loading plug and play boards. Please wait..." screen and although the system is not hung, the \ symbol is still animated on screen, this process is taking a heck of a lot longer than on my other 3000. the difference is that this machine has 2 processors and a 3200 smart array using 18.2G ultra2 drives and the other machine does not.
