Proliant 7000 restart problem

I currently have 2 xeon 500 proliant servers that shutdown when doing a restart in windows 2000. Other xeon 450 servers do not have this issue. A warm boot does not work but a cold boot works everytime. It seems to happen when installing the 6.40a support pack. Does anyone know what the fix is for this problem.
I have checked all of the rompaqs and they are up to date.

I have exactly the same problem with my PL7000 with a Xeon 450.
Installed it with smartstart 5.5
Support pack 6.40
Downgrade to smartstart 5.2
Allways the same problem as you metioned it :-(
