Proliant 8000 550/2m Porcessor Upgrade!

Hello

I have a quad 8000 with 550 xeon cpu's. Since processor kits can be purchased rather cheap now, I wanted to upgrade.

From what I read upgrading from 550-900 requires more work then just swapping out CPU's and VRMs.

What I want to know is what's involved going from 550 - 700. Is there anything special about the 550-700 upgrade kit? Or could I just use 175810-B21 which is just a 700/2m CPU and VRM and swap the 550 with a 700

I have same issue, altho with a 8500.
I have asked this same question with no solution.
I have installed my 700's and the system wont boot.
It powers up for a few seconds and shuts down.
Repeat.
