Hi All
I have a client with a ML350 G5 (part no. 416892-011) currently running Raid 1 and I would like to upgrade to running Raid 5.
Can anyone tell me if I can install the 128MB Write Cache Enabler (part no. 351580-B21) into my ML350 and will that give the RAID 5 functionality that I require
It has the E200i controller
Thanks
David

Solution
Yes, The part no is correct and it would support RAID 5, Check the Quick Specs and check for the controller cache section

Re: Proliant ML350 128MB BBWC option
Always remember to perform a back up before proceeding with the migratión procedure, the RIS tables can get damaged and the hardware would still be fuctional, but you would have to begin from scratch.
