Proliant 1600 shows both processors during
post but in windows (2kpro) it only shows 1
what do I need to do to get them both working
little history was given 2 of these servers so I took the VRM from one and installed it in the one I am going to use,Then I picked up a matcned pair of 500/512/100/2.0's to use
the machine came with 1 400/512/100/2.0
What do I need to do please help

Hi Scott:
You will need to upgrade your Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) under windows,
this is a driver under device manager; you need to go from uniprocessor hal under my computer in device manager; to Multiprocessor hal.

Thanks Tarek, That did the trick I have never had to do that on any of my duals so at least I know how to correct it if I ever come across this again.
