updating ROM problems with SmartStart

I have a DL 380 g3 and am trying to update the ROM using SmartStart. My current ROM does not support the second processor I'm trying to install. After trying to get the CP file from floppy, the ROM Update program states that there is not enough space. I have 1.1G free space on the C: and more than that on the D:. Where is this file being opened to and does anyone know the footprint?
