which server is most quiet

Hi to all,

Anyone familiar with the noise HP servers makes.
I know a ml350 which has a lot of noise, but I will switch to a 310 a 110 or a 150, but I would like to know which one is most quiet of these three?

I've had the best luck with DL320 and DL380s. The advanced software (I think its the management agents) let the fans kick to a lower speed when OS is up.

ML330 and 350s also have an option for fan speed. Have you tried that?

It is impossible to turn down the 350 fan, or maybe you can tell me?

I have ML350G4 here. There is an option in the BIOS to have the fan spin lower. I have not tried it though.

I supoose you could always put the server in a closet and close the door.
