Win 98 SE on Netserver E 40
I installed Win 98 SE on a Netserver E 40. (I am using the computer as a desktop). Everything works fine except I have a hardware conflict with the IDE controllers. Windows installs the Standard IDE/ESDI controller and an Intel PCI Bus Master Controller. The Intel reports a hardware conflict with the standard controller. I have tried to clear the automatic settings and set the controllers manually with no luck. Everything works--the CD ROM and the floppy. The hard drives are SCSI. The machine does not seem to be unstable with Win 98. Any help is greatly appreciated.
