Windows 2000 Error Event ID: 1010
I see a lot of errors in Windows Event Log with description: "The Collect Procedure for the "Tcpip" service in DLL "C:\WINNT\system32\Perfctrs.dll" generated an exception or returned an invalid status. Performance data returned by counter DLL will be not be returned in Perf Data Block. Exception or status code returned is data DWORD 0."
May I safely stop HP Insight NIC Agent as Microsoft recommends (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;186713) or in that case some functionality will be lost? I do not use SNMP collectors anyway.
HP ProLiant ML350 G3, Windows 2000 Server SP4.
