Re: Windows 2000 server on LC3
how far into the booting do the errors occur?
What did you have as os on the machines before and on what disks/controller did you install Windows?
greetings,
Michael

Try a different Windows 2000 CD if you have one? Your media may be goofed up?

Re: Windows 2000 server on LC3
Make sure you got the latest BIOS on the server and latest Firmware on the netraid controller (you did no mention what kind it is). The latest BIOS for the server and firmware forn the netraid controller could be downloaded from this link
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?locale=en_US&pnameOID=15811&taskId=135&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=50443〈=en&cc=us&swEnvOID=54
1. Download both the BIOS and Firmware (from the link above) in to your hard drive
2. Creat a bootable diskett off of each downloads by excuting the downloaded files
3. Update the BIOS by booting the server from the BIOS floppy diskett you created in step 2 and on the next reboot press F2 to get in to the BIOS, then press F10 to save settings and exit(if you had a Custom BIOS setting make sure they are as they were before the BIOS update)
4. Update the Firmware on the netraid controller by booting from the netraid firmware diskett you have created in step 2
Note:
The recommended slot for the raid controller on this server is Slot 5 or 6 so make sure your raid controller is in one of this slots
I hope this will fix your issue
Regards
Amha Kassa
