windows 2003 enterprise don't use more then 4GB RAM with LH 6000
I had installed windows 2003 server entreprise on my lh6000 6 xeon 700MHz and 6GB RAM. Windows works correctly but, even if the information service sees all the memory, server use only 4GB (or something less).
I need to expand memory to 8GB, but I'm not sure that windows uses all the memory. Help

Re: windows 2003 enterprise don't use more then 4GB RAM with LH 6000
Dario,
If your installing Enterprise, the OS will support up to 32GB so you won't have a problem there! It's more than likely a hardware limitation, certainly not the OS

According to microsoft, W2K3 Enterprise edition can use up to 32GB of ram:

The CPU can only address 4GB native, however.
