Can anybody point me in the right direction here?
Thanks in advance,

Re: WMIxWDM Event ID 106 - Machine Check Event reported is a corrected error
Hi Jon,
I have to tell you up front, I'm not an expert on Proliants but what I can tell you is this:
1. CPU 0 is the CPU that reported the Machine Check Architecture exception.
2. This is a corrected error. Corrected errors are errors that are corrected by the computer. Corrected errors may also be corrected by the firmware, such as the processor abstraction layer or the system abstraction layer. The firmware is provided by the manufacturer of the computer. Corrected errors do not cause the computer to stop unexpectedly.
If the error has not recurred since, then you can accept it as a one-time issue that has been resolved. If the error repeats, and you have more than one CPU installed, you can try reversing the positions of the first and second CPU and see if the error follows the CPU.
Hope this is of some value,
Sean T. Craig Sr. C.E.T., M.C.P.

Yes! Thank you very much for the response. The error has not reccurred since, but I will keep an eye out for it.
