Is possible install SuSE 8.0 Pro in a ProLiant DL320 G2 with ATA RAID ?

Hi Jordi,

you have to know what is your ata raid controller and see if it's supported on linux. If it's supported then you have to know if suse 8 has the module (driver) to the controller. If it does not has then you will have to generate a floppy disk with the module and inform it during the installation process.

What is required to install the Linux OS is that the driver disk (after confirming that there exists a driver for this version of linux). Once you find the driver the same should have instructions to create the floppy.
