RHEL Cluster on Superdome Flex - Setting up Fencing issue
Hello All,
We are in process of setting up RHEL Cluster on rhel OS 8.4. This is on Superdome Flex H/W and one of the requirment is to setup fencing device on iLO. In traditional blade server we do this on iLO.
When we do the below CMD on HP blade server we get the status=ON.
[root@xxxxxxxxa yum.repos.d]# fence_ipmilan -a {iLO} -P -l {user-p {pass} -o status
Status: ON
But On Superdome Flex we have tuned on the IPMI settings to enable but not able to get the results we want. Also, redhat does not support cluster without fencing device.
Any suggestion on how can we make this work on Superdome Flex.
NOTE: For SuperDome-Flex:
enable ipmi all
On Blade H/W:
Enable IPMI over LAN on each ILO: iLO-> Security -> Access Settings -> IPMI/DCMI over LAN
(This will require a ILO reset)
Any help is appreciated.
