Add/Edit Device not working

The database (MSDE) does not appear to be updated at all. Add device appears to work, but when you go to edit, cannot find it. Also when you edit an existing device, changes are not affected. It was obviously working at some time, but no longer. Stopped ansd started the MSDE engine to no avail.

Keep in mind that when you edit a device (like mark it as having HTTP), when Insight Manager XE/7 does identification again on that device, it will set it to what the product actually sees running on the device. For instance, if nothing responds to typical ports (80,2301,280,8008, etc.), then it will be flagged as not having HTTP.

When you add a device, go to the "All Devices" query (under Device Queries) and see if you see the device there. It should show up and with the status "No Status" until the next status polling task runs.

CIM 7, SP2, SQL Server: Same Problem. When I use SQL Profiler to trace SQL statements I don't see any insert or update.
