Agents disconnecting

We have a remote disaster recovery site where we have a seperate IM server to monitor the servers on that site. From time to time we break the link between HQ and DR site for testing. When the link is down some servers (in a particular subnet) loose connection with the IM console, although they are pingable inside the DR site. When the link is restored everything goes back to normal, any ideas on why IM looses connection to servers?

I'd recommend doing a tracert between the IM console and those servers while the network is down, and again while it is up and comparing the differences. That might shed some light on it.

Also, any chance the link between the DR site and these remote sites is filtered by a firewall or something that might be preventing SNMP traffic?
