Any idea what this event viewer message means?

I need help understanding this event viewer message and how I can go about correcting it. It comes up every 2 minutes and is pretty much driving me crazy. Thank you

"Compaq Threshold Agent: Rising Threshold Passed. SNMP MIB Variable .1.3.6.1.4.1.232.11.2.3.1.1.2.0 has value 2 >= 0. Severity: Unknown; Description: None. Refer to the Compaq MIB for a definition of the variable."

Re: Any idea what this event viewer message means?

You have set a threshold on CPU utilization (the one checked every poll interval or every 2 minutes) that tells the agents to alert if the utilization is above 0. I would hope it is always above 0 :).

Using Win32 CIM select the CPU utilization screen, right click and bring up the list of thresholds on CPU 0 in the 'last minute' bar. You can then delete this threshold.

Optionally, you can use the control panel on the server (assuming the server is running WinNT or Win2K) to delete all thresholds.
