What ports must be opened on a PIX firewall for the snmp agents to be able to report to insight manager?

ILO requires the following ports:
UDP port 80
UDP port 23
With the newer firmware port 443 also needs to be open for the SSL connection
IM7sp2 requires the following ports:
UDP port 161 for SNMP
UDP port 162 for SNMP trap service
UDP port 2301 for Web based management.
UDP port 280 is used Insight Manager 7.
UDP port 2381 for secure Web based management (Smartstart 5.30 or later)
UDP port 50000 for secure Insight Manager 7

Hi,

You need to open SNMP inbound port 162 (SNMP_Traps) and outbound port 161 (SNMP) on your firewall. Oh yeah you will need to open tcp/udp port 7 for ping traffic. That's all you need.
