Disk threshold alert
As a test I setup disk threshold on a server. Critical at 60% and Warning at 52%. Then to test it, I copied a bunch of files to the server and exceeded the critical limit. IM homepage on the server shows the disk threshold setting is set correctly and that the space used has exceeded the limit but I do not see the event under "All events" in CIM. I sent a test trap from the server and CIM received it as I see it under All events. I have a query setup (event of type) that reports hardware errors and this server is part of that query and if I pull a drive from the server, it is reported. For some reason, exceeding the disk threshold event is not showing up as an event. Any ideas why? Thanks in advance

Re: Disk threshold alert
I had to set the SNMP security for our community to Read/Write. Then CIM showed the event.
