VCA for Linux
Hi,
have a bit of a problem with the Linux version of VCA. Server runs Redhat 8. Agent is version 2.0.1-18 by the looks of things. Have agents version 7.1 installed (and running).
Now, when I go into web interface of VCA, I see only the VCA in the list. In the log, it says it does "The ProLiant Insight Agents are not installed or running, so inventory data is not available."
So, as next step I went to select reference PSP, selected 7.10B (try older versions as well) and then when i click on install, it complains, that it can't download the *.txt files. But there aren't no text files in the repository! Drat!. It goes like this:
Started installation task from caller localhost.localdomain.
Smart Component, cpq_cciss-2.4.50-18.rh80.i686.rpm, was downloaded from Version Control Repository Manager server mgmtconsole.ucd.ie.
Smart Component, cpq_cciss-2.4.50-18.rh80.i686.xml, was downloaded from Version Control Repository Manager server mgmtconsole.ucd.ie.
Smart Component, hppldu-1.0.3-6.tar.gz, was downloaded from Version Control Repository Manager server mgmtconsole.ucd.ie.
Smart Component, install710.sh, was downloaded from Version Control Repository Manager server mgmtconsole.ucd.ie.
The Smart Component file, cpq_cciss-2.4.50-18.rh80.i686.txt, could not be retrieved from the Version Control Repository Manager on server mgmtconsole.ucd.ie. The download will be retried.
The Smart Component file, cpq_cciss-2.4.50-18.rh80.i686.txt, could not be retrieved from the Version Control Repository Manager on server mgmtconsole.ucd.ie. Downloads stopped.
Completed installation with summary result 4

Re: VCA for Linux
When I put the required text files in the repository directory, it works. It looks like the repository manager is not downloading the txt files from hp.
