Disk Thresholds
There have been a few posts about disk thresholds, and i have read them all, but still cannot get the set threshold task to run.
I get 'the agent did not accept the request'. Also if I look in the http server logs on the server in question it states invalid secure login.
I have checked the following:
SNMP strings are the same on the management server and the managed server - and have read create rights. The correct snmp control strings are specified in the snmp applet and within cim7.
127.0.0.1 is set as a destination and a source as well as the management server.
I have tried this with all the trust combinations, currently using trust all to ensure this is not the problem.
I have set the thresholds manually, and this works, with rising threshold traps being sent. But when the threshold drops it does not clear, another problem that would be resolved if I could get the SET DISK THRESHOLD task to run.
As an aside I also get repository not accessible when trying to access the repository from the CIM server, although the agents can acces it fine (including the vc agent on the management server.
running out of ideas... thinking of reinstalling CIM7
