IM Sp2 and Secure Path Manager
Not too sure what Forum to post this in but I haven't found a suitable forum for Secure Path Manager, so here goes.
Installed the new Web Based SPM (V4.0B) and I'm trying to configure the Notification Utility.
It comes up with "Connection Failure".
When I try and Launch the Notification Utility I get challenged with the standard IM Agent Authorization Login Page.
I think this may be getting in the way of how SPM wants to work.
Has anyone got the Web Based version of SPM running and IM SP2.
Any tricks?
TIA
Rob.

Re: IM Sp2 and Secure Path Manager
I have SPM 4.0B installed on several IM7 SP 2 servers. I didn't do anything special. If you login to the PSP agent web page as administrator, you will have a SPM link on the left side of the screen.
4.0B uses the PSP authentication to allow access to the SPM web page.

Re: IM Sp2 and Secure Path Manager
Thanks for the info.
I could launch SPM from the Device Page. From the SPM Page I would go into Configuration / Event Notification.
It was from the Secure Path Event Notification Page that connection failures were being reported. The last line indicated version N/A. for the Notification Utility.
And, the from the Settings Page it would report the Connection Failure! Message.
Thing is, I could launch the Utility from that Page, but onlay after entering the Administrator password.
I played about with the Local and Anonymous settings on the Devices Options page and restarted various services. After a while it did establish communication.
Not too sure at this point if it was just a timing issue (me being impatient - no couldn't have been 8-) ) or a result of the changes made.
