IM7 Data Collection task frequency

We're currently running IM7 (soon to be HPSIM 4.2) and are using IM7 as a data source for our configuration management database.
We'd like to run the data collection task daily instead of biweekly, but the help states we should limit it to monthly for large networks (ours is) or at most weekly for small networks.

Anyone know if it would be a mistake to run the task daily? Our IM7 mgmt server has pretty broad shoulders.

I run it daily and I have over 2400 devices servers. Since running this one task would take a long time -- and prevent reporting while running -- I split the task into three tasks. I split them based on global region and then run each task at a time least intrusive to that region.
