IM7 numeric paging

Can IM 7 be configured to send out numeric pages? I see only alpha/numeric and it will not page to my numeric pager. I cannot send email to this pager either.

No, the data sent to the paging applet is alphanumeric and contains information about the problem and the system involved.

I presume you would like to send either a generic message when anything happens, maybe "911" or something, or work out a code for what has happened. They way to accomplish this would be through Application Launch. You could create a script (Using Perl, Windows Scripting Host or whatever) that takes the data from the event variables and makes a decision about what to send and then calls an applet and passes that on to the applet.
