Insight Manager 7 Uncleared Events Problem...
I've tried searching. Notice some people have the same problem, but no answers to the ones I found.
On our IM7 SP2 server, The event notifcation boxes across the top right, All show a "bogus" number.
I've cleared all events, Deleted old events, rebooted this server. Nothing I have done makes the "bogus" numbers go away.
The device status "3 boxes" are all correct, but the Uncleared Events "3 boxes" are all incorrect.
I thought it was a browser cache issue, so I switched to another PC to view. Same numbers.
We're out of ideas. Anyone offer any suggestions?

Re: Insight Manager 7 Uncleared Events Problem...
Or did you clear the events through your CIM Server?
Within your CIM 7 server.
After logging on
DEVICES tab
TASKS
Scroll down to the BLUE BAR "CONTROL TASKS"
If it is there - run it.
If it's not already in there - create new CONTROL TASKS
Select Delete Events
New screen.
In this screen there will be three parts.
Task Name
Name the task "Delete Events"
List of queries
This should be be "All Devices" (we have "All Servers") So everything will be deleted.
Selected Query and schedule
Click on Schedule. Set to NOW.
Save the tasks.
Now run the task.

Re: Insight Manager 7 Uncleared Events Problem...
Get this.
We removed all devices from monitoring, deleted all devices in the data (except the IM server), cleared all events and everything.
Deleted all events and everything we could find.
The counters STILL show 117/20/8
What's up with that? What are we missing?

Each server and clear each event?
Or did you clear the events through your CIM Server?

Re: Insight Manager 7 Uncleared Events Problem...
On the actual server, there are NO uncleared events, in Insight manager, all events are cleared and deleted. The only event found is the "discovered device" and it's cleared as well.
However, the notices say 118/etc.
Somewhere it's doing a bogus calculation based on some old cached data is my guess.
