integration server connection and update

i have a integration server set up on a win2000 server and was looking for some help on the connection and update prosess i connect to the integration server through ip i get to that point were i add the server name cpqis pass ip adress subnet it connects the next window i get is the selection of os does the integration server update rompaqs like system bios and scsi raid bios from the integration server i noticed the smartstart cd churning thru the install process how am i cetrian that the integration server is updating or the cd
