Launching IE5 via the cpqweb process
When I click on the web enabled icon from any web managed compaq server, the cpqweb process takes almost one minute to open the Device Home Page in IE5.
I've tried to improve performance and response time by specifying the IE5 path in the environmental variables but... with no success.
The cpqweb process seems to seek for IE5 location on the hard drive and seems to scan the whole registery base.
However, when I launch manually IE5 and then specify an URL like http://server:2301, the device home page is displayed very fast.
Anyone having encountered such performance issue ?? Thanx
