Moved SQL databases, now wont start

I moved the SQL databases to a new server. I changed the ODBC connections and the reference in the DATABASE.PROPS file under CONFIG and CIM7 will not start. It tries to start the HTTP, but fails.

IM7 uses NT authentication for database access. Does the new server require different credentials than what IM7 was originally configured with?

Yes. The original admin account was "Administrator" and the new SQL server has the admin account renamed to something diffent for SOX compliance. Where do I make the change?

For IM7 it involves a re-install. For HP SIM you can run a utility. Might be a good idea to upgrade.

Re: Moved SQL databases, now wont start

I am having to move SIM's DB from 1 SQL server to another, what utility can accomplish this? Can you point me in the direction of documentation on how to do this? I seem to be able to find going from Desktop SQL to SQL server but not from 1 SQL to SQL on a physical move.

Thanks
