Re: pager notification to mobile phone

If your phone has email capability, why not just send an SMS style email to it?

Re: pager notification to mobile phone

You should confirm that your provider supports TAP (Telelocator Alphanumeric Protocol). The paging applet in IM7 assumes TAP. I think this is probably the problem since you are connecting and negotiating the connection but when the TAP stuff kicks in, you are getting stuck.

If your provider doesn't use TAP, then an email gateway is your alternative.

Re: pager notification to mobile phone

My provider supports the TAP-protocol. Do I have to use special characters in front of or behind my mobile phone number?
