Possibilities of monitoring hard disk status
Hello,
what possibilities do I have with IM 7 SP 2 to monitor the hard disks, e.g. checking if a part of the disk is damaged, not just monitoring the data usage on the disk. What else is monitored and how?

The Storage Agents does the monitoring for you. They will send out an SNMP trap to your IM7 server if a disk is going bad or is in a bad state. You can also retrieve disk status information from the web interface on the local machine by typing http://machinename:2301.

Re: Possibilities of monitoring hard disk status
This can get a bit more complex with SAN based storage, but again it is achievable.

Re: Possibilities of monitoring hard disk status
I think I have the same problem.
I would to see color red in a server only if one of the array hard disk failure.
At this moment I'm working about this problem.
