Problem with auto discovered machines
I am having a problem with auto discovered servers, some of them are not showing up as servers, but as unknown. The machines that show up as unknown are of the same type (Compaq ProLiant DL380 G2), OS (win 2k). Any sugustions would be appreachiated.

Re: Problem with auto discovered machines
hola. When you edit the device under Manual Discovery, you'll want to make sure that SNMP is checked for the servers that are showing up as unknown. Also make sure that the SNMP Community names are correct.
If everything is correct and working and the servers are still showing up as unknown, you can manually change the device type by selecting server from the drop down box while editing the device.
Hope this helps!
