Problems with System-Management-Homepage
I'm trying to get SNMP and HP SMH running on a HP NAS9000s.
I installed the ProLiant Support Pack v7.20 and configured SNMP via the web-interface.
When I start the SMH i get the following displayed (please see the attached image).
What could be wrong with the agents ?????
I really have no idea....
If you have any information(s) that could help me....would be very fine !!
Thanks
Hubert

Re: Problems with System-Management-Homepage
What you are seeing is normally caused by a web application timing out. The SMH is an integrated UI and single access point for multiple applications, unfortunately not all the applications respond in a timely manner. When an application fails to respond and causes the SMH to timeout - that is when you see an empty page like the one you posted.
This can be caused by things such as a VC Agent that is not configured to point to a VCRM or the VCRM it is pointing to is unreachable. It can also be caused by an SNMP configuration that causes the web agents to either not respond correctly or to respond so slow as to cause this problem. The VCA configuration is usually the easiest to check first.

Re: Problems with System-Management-Homepage
I had the same problem after unattended installation of Win2003Ent. and PSP 7.20.
I've configured the SNMP Traps and Security (thanks Alexey Sakurenko for help) how presented in attachment and the problem with SMH have been solved.
Regards,
Olga
