Restart server notification task?
Is there an easy task that can be setup to notify me, when a server physically reboots? Currently I have a query that will email/page us when the server goes into the critical state. The problem is, if it is timed just right we won't get emailed or paged; since the polling is every 5 minutes i believe.

Re: Restart server notification task?
The agents don't keep track of that directly. One thing you could do is use the 'process monitor' function of the agents to alert on a process when it starts up. This should be a process that usually starts once and only when the system starts up.

That is one functionality that I hope will be part of the next version of IM. In the mean time, I'm using WhatsUp Gold for this task.
