Security Error accessing Repository

When I pick a few servers from my list and try to a group Control task, like Update Softwarea dn firmware. I get the following error:

"Security Error accessing this repository. Establish a trust relationship between CIM7 and a managed system containing a repository."

My repositoy server is on the same server as my IM server, Trust is set to trust all.

Any thoughts?

To get this to work, I had to log on to the agent on the IM server (via https://servername:2381), go to options and then import the certificate off the IM server, even though the repository was on the same server. I don't think I could get 'trust all' to work, it required me to do the certificate import. After that, the VCA tasks worked ok.

Hmmm... can't think why this might not be working, where are the experts when we need them?

Re: Security Error accessing Repository

What about your SNMP settings? Are you accepting packets from the localhost IP Address, and is it first in the list? Also, make sure that all of your services are running. The Repository service isn't listed with all the Compaq services. It's actually called "Version Control Repository Manager" so make sure that's running too.
